Liability Please note that 'GAYSWAG' and its organisers are not and will not in any way be responsible for your safety or any loss of property or possessions or damage to property or possessions in any way whatsoever on any 'GAYSWAG' organised walks. Walk Leader For our part we will ensure that our walks always have a designated 'leader' who will make themself known to you before the walk starts. Any questions or concerns about the walk should be raised with him. Public rights of way We will ensure that GAYSWAG walks follow designated public rights of way as outlined on relevant Ordnance Survey 1-25,000 scale maps. A good quality detailed map will always be available for you to look at, from the leader, if you require. Bad weather before and during walk In the event of very bad weather either occurring or forecast on the day ring 07817 636347 to ensure cancellation is not planned. If the potential for bad weather is forecast during the walk bring suitable and appropriate clothes and walking gear. In the event of sudden bad weather on the walk a decision will be made, as soon as it is practical, by the leader, on whether to abandon the walk. Countryside & highway codes Please be careful, as always, when out walking, be safe and observe both the country and highway codes. Not joining the walk The leader reserves the right to ask anyone who, in his opinion, is not well enough or able to manage the walk on the day not to participate as a member of the 'GAYSWAG' group. Leaving the walk If any members wish to leave the walk along the way the leader will always appreciate it if you'll let him know you are doing so Thankyou for reading this and enjoy the walks!
