Summer walk times start from 2pm Walk 105 Sunday August 31st The Lewes lap-Meet 2pm from Lewes station then a very scenic walk southwest up onto Downs and along the medieval sheep herders road -Juggs Rd & back down via Rodmell and the Ouse estuary with a stop for drinks at the Juggs Pub. Led by Dave. Length 6m, Grade-moderate IMPORTANT NOTE- THE ABOVE WALK MAY BE FILMED IN PART FOR A CHANNEL 4 DOCUMENTARY BUT ONLY THOSE THAT WISH TO BE FILMED WILL BE AND WE"LL BE VERY CLEAR ABOUT THIS.. Walk 106 Sunday September 14th Seven Sisters Stroll- out. Starting at 2pm at Beachy Head. Car Drivers please note: This is a linear walk. Park at the Golden Galleon (at Exceat), catch the 12A bus at approx 1.35pm and alight at Beachy Head approx 1.55pm Please be early for the bus – sometimes they run up to 5 minutes early and there will not be one for another half hour. Should a number 12 happen to come along, do not board this bus – it does not go to Beachy Head. We will be walking from Beachy Head along the beautiful rolling seven sisters, admiring the stunning coastal views and finishing at the Golden Galleon for a refreshing pint. This walk is hilly and maybe wet so you will need decent footwear! Length 6.5m, Grade: Moderate.
