All Walks start at 2pm and last about 3 1/2 hours. Walks are now fortnightly for summer and early autumn Walk 145 Sunday August 8th Post Pride walk Start 2pm in Kemptown just outside Legends pub on Marine Parade for a Hidden Brighton walk, up to Race Hill and back via Ovingdean and Rottingdean and the Undercliff walk; in conjunction with Outdoor Lads. LENGTH 5m and we will return by 4.45pm to Kemptown for the Pride Sunday street party. Led byGary GRADE Easy TRANSPORT Brighton buses, 12 etc Walk 146 Sunday August 22nd Big Tea and cake reward walk, Start 2pm, at Bishopstone station for walk led by Andrew up onto Downs via the tidal flats & estuary of the Ouse. Finish at Ib & Patricks house nearby for tea & cakes. LENGTH 7m, GRADE Easy/moderate TRANSPORT Train or the 12 bus to Bishopstone station (on Lewes-Seaford line) Walk 147 Sunday September 5th The Stapleford walk Meet 2pm Led by Simon. Details tbc Walk 148 Sunday September 19th Spa Valley steam railway walk. Led by Dave. Meet 2pm, Eridge station for walk to High Rocks station returning by train to Groombridge then walk back from there to Eridge.
